Preparation for adventure/dorm life

After leaving the forest Erwin and Ymira continued their walk to their dorm room. All of the dorms are genderlocked except for their room. Theirs is the only co ed room due to the arrangement Ymira made with the headmaster. Erwin groaned as he trudged ever closer to their room in the eastern tower. "Quit your groaning Erin, it isn't that bad." "Says you. You should try having someone cut your arm and then drink from it. See how you like it." "Oh you're such a baby Erin." As they reached the room Erwin sighed and looked at his bodyguard. "Do we still have to go by the fake names even when we're alone? I mean I don't think I've actually heard my real name said in ages." Now it was Ymiras turn to let out a groan "You know the answer already. We can't trust that we're ever truly alone. Until we leave we can't use our real names."

They both walked inside of the room and shut the door. Erwin began setting up his arm so that he doesn't lose too much blood. "I guess that's true still I miss my old name. Anyway I wonder what the rest f the guys in the forest decided to do."

Lisanna frowned, hearing voices. No one was supposed to be here, this was her place to practice Illusion Magic. Just as Lisa was considering talking to the headmaster, a letter appeared beside her. She opened it, and nodded in understanding. Lisanna got up from her place on the cold floor, straightened her hair, and knocked at the door the voices were behind. She gasped, remembering that her hair color illusion was still in place. Lisa's illusion magic didn't disappear on its own, Lisanna herself had to get rid of it. Oops, oh, well...

The voices inside the room stopped the second Lisa made a noise. Both Erwin and Ymira went on edge. Ymira walked carefully over to the door and stood behind it with her blades at the ready. No one was supposed to be up here. No one had been up here since they moved in as far as they were aware. Erwin moved to the door and opened it just a crack. His wand already beginning to crackle with energy. "Can I help you?"

Bryn sighed, closing her eyes to get some rest. But when she heard voices, she shot up, fully awake. She loved to relax here, and she had never heard anyone else. "Come on!" She whispered to herself, irritated.

"Eep!!!!!" Lisanna squeaked, seeing his wand out at the ready. "I'm not gonna hurt you, I promise. I'll even get rid of my illusion hair, kay? Please don't hurt me. Please? I just wanted to say 'hi'."

The second he saw who it was he let out a deep shaky breath as the energy radiating from the wand dissipated. He opened the door a bit wider and put the wand back within his vest. He scratched the back of his head and looked at the girl apologetically. "Oh, sorry about that. I've been kinda jumpy ever since we got back from the forest. Yumi we have a visitor." He said to his bodyguard who had been waiting behind on the other side of him. When he looked back to their guest he showed a small smile.  Ymira stepped out from behind him as he  stepped out of the way. "I'm sorry for that. We don't usually get visitors up here. Do you want to come in?"

"Sure!" Lisanna said, her mood instantly improving. She snapped her fingers, getting rid of the illusion that her hair was pink instead of blue. "I'm Lisanna, by the way. But you can call me Lisa!"

"So Lisa what brings you to our neck of the woods?" He begins to tighten the tourniquet on his left arm as he sits down on the chair next to their dining table. He taps one of his veins and looks over at his guest."Oh, yeah you caught us at an awkward time. You Yumi here is a vampire and needs blood regularly, since no one else is about to offer her any it's fallen to me. You mind getting a few of the small bottles from that cabinet over there? We're planning on heading on a journey soon so I probably won't be able to feed her out in the field."

"Sure. Well, I usually practice Illusion Magic here, and then I heard voices, so I thought I'd go say hi," Lisanna said, grabbing the bottles.

He takes them and sets two of them down on the table but opens the third one. Ymira helps with the procedure by being the one to insert the needle and transfer the blood to the bottle. Erwin winced at the initial pinprick before returning his attention to Lisa. "Well Lisa it's very nice to meet you. We don't usually spend a lot of time in this room so that might be why we haven't met before. My name's Erin and this is my sister Yumi. So let me guess, you're a...sophomore this year right?"

Bryn was 'napping' behind a pile of crates, and she sighed. Couldn't she ever get any rest? Her dorm was not to best, as it was always hot in there, so she relaxed here, and where it was more open. Deciding to remain hidden, until the three went away, she settled back down.

The moment there was a lull in the conversation a soft sigh could be heard. The two exchanged glances before looking towards where the sound had come from. Ymira was beginning to grow annoyed with the ever increasing number of people who have come here today. This was exactly why they hadn't bunked in the other dorms but it seems their plan backfired. "Would the person behind our boxes please come out? Also if it isn't too much of a bother, would you mind telling us why you're sleeping in our room?!"

"Your room? Oh sorry. I don't sleep here, I come here to relax. It's more... open and roomy. I'll leave now, if I can't get any peace and quiet." Bryn got up and rolled her eyes. "I didn't recall anyone living here until now. So you guys must be new."

"Nope, we've been here going on four years now. We're usually just here in the evening. Got moved here by the Headmaster. Actually...do I know you? I could've sworn I saw you earlier today in the forest. Regardless, you're own room will probably work better as a place to sleep or relax. Unless you want to wait about an hour. We'll be heading out soon.

6:45 November 12th. Day of the forest incident.

"Actually, Lisa & Bryn, are you doing anything later today or I guess in a few days time? We're planning an expedition into the forest and could use an extra set of eyes." He looks at Lisa for moment before continuing his thought. "You're a talented illusion mage from what I can tell so having you with us certainly would help." He shifted his gaze to Bryn momentarily uncertain. "I'm not entirely certain what your main ability is, as I've not met many fey but I'm sure having you tag along wouldn't hurt. When we get back I'll split part of the reward with you two." He looked up at his partner first, looking for objections. He found none.

"You're fey as well? Don't the usually wear their wings for all to see? Isn't it like a badge of honour to you lot?" She asked momentarily confused. She had met many feys who felt they were superior and more intuned to nature because of those overgrown butterfly wings. So to see one who hides them is quite the rarity.

"Nah. I don't like to hide them, but I want everyone to know that I believe that we are all equal," Lisanna said with a smile.

"Well Lisa that's a very respectable attitude to have. If only there were a few more people who thought like you do." Erwin notices that the suns beginning to set and he has began packing up their backpacks. After he had gotten used to the light headedness from losing so much blood of course. "Well...we best be heading out. The general store will be closing soon and we'll be needing some supplies from there before we enter the forest again. Any thing either of you need?"

"Well, I wouldn't tag along, I'm good at magic too." She huffed. "Anyways, I'm 17 and more of the element master. And I like to summon things and make potions too." Bryn said.

"I'm coming" Jess says plainly joining the crowd

"Secluded place far away from the other students. I wonder if that bear heard me correctly?" Erwin thinks to himself before sighing. Ymira looks around the room wondering where all these people are coming from then she shrugged and decided it's better off not knowing. "Kinda surprised you'd actually want to come with us. Especially since this is more of hunt for a vampire slayer than anything else. I thought you were all for my kind getting butchered?" She didn't hate Jesse but she knew that he likely despised her and anyone else of their kind. She told Erwin about this once and all he said was "If he ever tries to hurt you we'll make sure it's the last thing he ever does."

Jesse shrugs "I'm not genocidal I just don't trust you, and I'm not gonna just let kids get butchered..." Actually he didn't even hate ymira, or nekoma, hell he even had a limited amount of trust towards Stefan "what do you think I am a vampire." He says but you detect that he is joking not insulting you
